KST – Stational Concentrator of Telemechanics

Stational Concentrator of Telemechanics is a multi-module system with a digital processing of information. The device may be either mounted inside a control cabinet or placed in autonomous modules. KST is constructed on the basis of:

  • Xserwer concentrators;
  • CSS 4E 64/64 binary inputs/outputs modules;
  • Archi 900/LGU input modules of voltage and current analog measurements
  • Archi 900/LGU/RWT telemetry measurement inputs modules

KST device is intended for data, measurements and information accumulation and transmitting from systems and devices. This is a system equipped with expanded: measurement functions, automatics and teleoperations. It ensures remote supervision and control of electric power engineering devices in substation by means of XMD, DNP 3.0 and IEC 60870-5-103 protocols.

Device characteristics:

  • cooperation with Ex-Windex, SYNDIS superior systems, DNP 3.0 or IEC 60870-5-103 protocols (in two channels);
  • cooperation with local supervision centre;
  • cooperation with substation devices (protection devices, regulators, recorders, automatics, counters ecc.) by means of XMD, DNP 3.0, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 61850 protocols;
  • concentrator remote configuration and diagnostics executed via local Ethernet network, modem or optic fibre;
  • concentrator local configuration, diagnostics and service channel – RS 232;
  • local synchronisation of time executed by means of GPS signal – two concentrator versions possible:
    • condensed (modules are mounted inside one single or inside several separate control cabinets);
    • dispersed (autonomous modules in cassettes or in small control cabinets);
  • automatics accomplishment possibility (e.g. SCO in cooperation with HV/MV bays);
  • possibility of substation, bay and interbay blockades accomplishment;
  • data supervision system concentrator for: protection devices, recorders, regulators, automatics, counters ecc.);
  • possibility of logics accomplishment based on binary input, analog input and signalling output modules and based on C&C protection devices, concentrators, signalling that create dedicated substation automatics system. The system serves as substation controller which executes teleoperations, monitors substation and generates substation register;
  • possibility of simple extensions and cooperation with electric power engineering devices in substation.
