CombiCom OPTO Converters

Converter types:

  • RS 232 / opto single-mode (SM);
  • RS 232 / opto multi-mode (MM);
  • RS 485 / opto single-mode (SM);
  • RS 485 / opto multi-mode (MM);

Characteristics:

  • single-mode converters are equipped with FC/PC type connectors;
  • single-mode converters work with single-mode transmission fibres compliant with ITU-T G.652
    standard, mod width 9,2 [µm] for wave length 1310 [nm] (9/125);
  • wave length of C&C single-mode converter is 1310 [nm];
  • multi-mode converters are equipped with ST type connectors;
  • multi-mode converters work with multi-mode transmission fibres compliant with ITU-T G.651 62,5/125 [µm] (62/125);
  • wave length of C&C multi-mode converter is 850 [nm];

* Single-mode converters (SM) are available in two versions depending on the optical fibre length that converter works with. Standard version is equipped with the optical fibre up to 15km long. Non-standard version is a converter working with the optical fibre longer than 15km, which should be taken into consideration while placing an order.
